Our Mission
Truckee Traveler aims to offer a feel-good opportunity for those wanting to explore but still needing to find the motivation. This platform will consist of three major segments including exploration, interviews, and giving back which are described in the boxes below.
At the end of the day, the plan is that there’s no plan.
explore
Travel around both the US and abroad will be featured on the Explore page. This includes a map of restaurants, campsites, vistas, and very importantly, clean bathrooms as well as blog-style informational posts of adventures.
interviews
Interviews will be conducted with local business owners of each town visited. The goal is to share stories that inspired the business with fellow Truckee Travelers.

giving back
This space further encourages a sense of community. Giving back does not look the same for everyone. It can be anything from volunteering at a local organization to donating to picking up a piece of trash during a walk. This page will offer opportunities that anyone can take to make a difference!
